Building a better fire extinguisher

There are many fire extinguisher products already out on the market, but none address the public concerns when faced with fighting a fire:

Portability. Large extinguishers are bulky (up to 25lbs). Fire Beater is developing an easy-to-handle, portable unit that can easily be stored in convenient out-of-sight locations.

Longevity. Fire extinguishers must suppress a fire long enough to contain it or create an escape route. Most units discharge from only 8-25 seconds. Fire Beater is developing a unit that will last longer without compromising portability.

Building a better smoke detector / fire alarm

While there are many fire alarm/smoke detectors systems already out on the market, none address the public concerns of system usage:

Batteries. The majority of alarms are battery powered. However batteries run out and most often are never replaced. Fire Beater is developing a fire alarm unit that is not hardwired nor uses batteries - so you will always be protected.

Sensor types. Many fire alarm systems incorporate ionisation sensors. These sensors measure the amount of particulate in the air (smoke). The sensors trigger an alarm when the particulate content reaches a high enough level. This timing allows a potential fire to grow deadlier. Fire Beater is developing a unit with a unique sensor to detect fires quicker than other units on the market.
